In October I moved to Oxford to work as a Database Operator for Oxfam. Although this was not a campaigning role, it was still a very important one to ensure that supporter’s financial support went onto the Oxfam Supporter System.
I still remained and tried to get involved in campaigning. I frequently visited the campaigns department; I helped out the activist support team ringing supporters and getting them to lobby their MPs regarding EPAs. As well as that I got involved with the Oxford Oxfam Group and the Oxford Fair Trade Coalition.
Unfortunately I had to terminate my employment with Oxfam after 3 months. I will still continue to support and campaign with Oxfam and other NGOs. I have already set up monthly commitments with Oxfam and Amnesty International.
